Hello all,
I will use my blog to send you updates from India. My goal on this trip is to see Indian wildlife and a bit of Indian Culture. India is a BIG place with a long rich history and many cultures. One cannot do it justice in a single trip.
I will get in updates whenever and wherever I can. Maybe I’ll even figure out how to upload a picture- but don’t count on it!
This is an overview of my trip:
March 2 Arrive New Delhi
March 3-7 Kaziranga National Park in northeast India. Known for one horned rhinos.
March 8-9 the Taj in Agra and the temples at Khajuraho
March 10-21: three National Parks/reserves in hopes of seeing tigers: Bandhavgarh, Kanha and Pench. These are southeast of Delhi.
March 21-22 Jaipur, Rajasthan, also known as the pink city (need I say more?)
March 23-27 Sasan Gir National Park: known for asiatic lions.
March 28 fly home.
